 This Cookies Policy describes the different types of cookies and similar technologies that may be applied by CynergisTek, Inc. (“CynergisTek”) and its affiliate Redspin on their respective websites (each, a “Site” and collectively, the “Sites”).

1. What is a Cookie?

4. Web Beacons:

Web beacons (also known as clear .gifs) are used to anonymously track the online usage patterns of those who access our website. In addition, we currently use clear gifs in some HTML-based emails sent to recipients of email messages to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information is allows for more accurate reporting, sales management and improvement of the website.

5. Targeted Online and Mobile Advertising

CynergisTek has engaged one or more third party service providers to track and analyze both individualized usage and volume statistical information from interactions with our Sites. Third party service providers may also serve cookies on your computer or mobile device to serve advertising through our Sites and provide other personalization services in accordance with this Cookie Policy. These companies may collect and use information about your visits to our Sites and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that may interest you. They may also employ technology that is used to measure and track the effectiveness of advertisements. This can be accomplished by the use of cookies or web beacons to collect information about your visits to our Sites and other sites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services of potential interest to you.
