Prior to Cybergold, Dan had developed a strong background in networking infrastructure and network management, having sold some of the first router-based networks in the U.S. and the Asia Pacific region. He holds a B.A. cum laude with distinction in his major of Government from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
Prior to Redspin, John's career experience included engineering and product management positions at Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU), InterVU (acquired by Akamai) and WebSideStory (acquired by Omniture). In addition, he spent several years at a number of technology startups in such diverse fields as online auctions, image capture, automated website tools, travel reference and language translation. John graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), with a M.S. in Environmental Studies, an M.S. in Geography and a minor in Physics.
John is a regular speaker on the security lecture circuit and his passion for security is indicative in his "hands on" approach at working with clients as they evolve their information security programs. He is married with 3 daughters, Kaia, Aria and Sefina.
David has extensive experience in many aspects of information security. Beginning his career as a Network Security Analyst, David monitored perimeter firewalls and intrusion detection systems in order to identify and neutralize threats in real time. After working in the trenches of perimeter analysis, David joined an External Threat Assessment Team as a Security Researcher, working closely with large financial institutions to mitigate external risk and combat phishing attacks. David is currently the Director of Penetration Testing & Technology at Redspin, specializing in External and Application security assessments and managing a team of highly skilled engineers. David has particular interests in exploit development and unconventional attack vectors, and was a speaker at ToorCon 12 in San Diego, CA.
As Redspin's Director of Operations, In-House Counsel and Project Manager, Mona has worked directly with all Redspin's clients since 2006. She develops and maintains positive client relationships and ensures the A + service Redspin clients have now come to expect. Details are Mona's forte, and as Project Manager, Mona provides the daily support for all client projects and assists our engineering team in obtaining the information they need to perform the specific security assessment service that has been offered. In her role as Director of Operations she is responsible for the day to day activities of the company. As In-House Counsel she advises the company and its employees on legal issues. Her professional designations include a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctorate. Mona is an active member of the State Bar of California.
