Senior Level Sales Representative for a Technical IT Assessment Firm
|

Redspin, Inc. voted Outside Magazine's Best Co's to work for is a national IT security assessment firm based in Carpinteria, CA. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to join our sales team and help continue our consistent revenue and customer growth.
We are looking for individuals with experience in telephonic and face to face sales and other aspects of the sales process including; prospecting, qualifying, presenting, overcoming objections, and closing business over the telephone and via online presentations. A technical background or experience a plus as well as industry experience.
Redspin has close to doubled revenue each year for the past several years. With a reputation as the most technically astute and thorough security assessment firm in the business, our growth has been accompanied by exceptionally strong customer retention and referrals.

Job Requirements
- Experience and success with lead based selling, cold calling, qualifying, setting meetings, and closing business

Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of industry experience in least one of the following areas: security research, network engineering or system administration.
- Must have hands-on knowledge of information technology infrastructure, operating systems (Unix and Windows) and networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet).
- Completion of a 4-year degree. Technical focus preferred.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of audit processes and practices.
Relevant Security Experience:
Penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, OS hardening, firewall (Cisco, Checkpoint) configuration, IDSs and VPN deployment, network architecture design, wireless security, encryption and authentication methods. This position requires the ability to think holistically and apply information security principles to a variety of IT environments.
Background:
4 Yr. technical degree preferred but not necessarily required for someone with a strong technical background. CISSP and/or SANS certifications would be beneficial. Three-five years of enterprise technical experience is required.
